Field Technical Support Specialist
Responsibilities will include:
- Support preclinical and clinical trial site with in-services, observation and troubleshooting support during clinical trials (510(k) and BLA), prior to product launch.
- Perform field troubleshooting post-launch of R&D level technical issues as they arise, working in an iterative and cooperative problem solving manner with the company's senior R&D staff and distribution partner.
- Must be willing to travel nationally in support of clinical trials and in the support of major accounts requiring greater direct product familiarity than our distribution partner can provide.
- Work with Director of Technical Support to create a framework for training the company's distribution partner.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years field service experience in technical service / technical support in the in-vitro diagnostics industry.
- Direct experience with immunoassay tests (ideally including lateral flow technology).
- BA in microbiology or the equivalent desirable.
- Blood banking background or direct experience in blood bank customer support highly desirable.
